Mina's Bugs

The night before the night before Christmas and I am still getting my ducks in a row… or in this case bugs.

These bugs are in panels in Minas bookcase that has taken me forever to complete.

This year I hope to be more productive in the shop.

Tucked Away

Tucked away, only visible from the back of a nondescript UofM parking lot off from Thomson St across from the dorms, you can find this Blimpy Burger mural that I was previously unaware of.

Since Blimpy Burger is kind of an Ann Arbor Institution, I thought it was interesting enough to snap a photo and post it. If I had not had to go into the parking lot to help Zack with a Jumpstart I would probably never have seen this.

MMMMM… I can almost taste that Blimpy goodness now.

8000 a gallon.... FTSU

Ok , I have mentioned this *before* but printer ink is really stupid… and here is a story I picked up from engadget but finally somebody is doing something.

Man files antitrust lawsuit over printer ink

One brave, intelligent, and super-cool Boston man has taken the law into his own hands -- vis-à-vis a bunch of attorneys -- and is taking HP and Staples to task for an alleged antitrust scheme. According to Ranjit Bedi, the two companies have been in cahoots in an attempt to stop the sale of inexpensive, third-party printer ink at Staples stores. In the suit, it's suggested that HP paid Staples $100 million to refrain from sale of the cartridges. The story might be harder to believe if it weren't for the nature of the printer ink business, which seems to be rife with companies engaging in questionable business practices (like selling cartridges which give you an inaccurate read on ink remaining, barring the use of third-party cartridges, and wildly overcharging for branded ink). If you've ever owned an ink-jet printer, we're pretty sure you know exactly what we're talking about. People -- it's time to fight back.

Tanner At The Airport

Tanner, being the lady that she is, waits patiently while I conclude some business at the Airport.

Wonder what she is thinking?

I can picture it now:

“Bring me my plane you mere human… or a stick… or a butt to sniff… now hurry this seat isn’t getting any softer!”

Winter Cabin

Today I had to go up to the cabin, and winterize it. It was kind of late in the season but, better late than never.

Here are some quick shots it took, some have more meaning to me than you but for what its worth, I tired to pick some of the best ones.

It was strange seeing things at this time of year it has been a long time since I have been at the cabin at the winter. It seemed a little strange and lonely.

It was nice to see things to see things from a different point of view.

On the way out one last picture to remind me what I was leaving behind.
