Somtimes it pays to be handy
We had seen this poster, on canvas, for $179 (on sale) from a local home goods store going out of business. Also online for about $194 on canvas. Barb really liked it, but it seem silly to spend that much on what I could tell was a poster.
So I decided we could re-create it... and we did.
Blank stretched canvas on frame: $7.50 X 5 = $37.50 (min order was 5)
Paint to match the walls, left over: *free*
Spray adhesive: : $7.89
Spray polyurethane: :$ 8.00
poster: :35.00
total: $88.00
and we had 4 left over canvas to do what ever we want with....
Not to shabby.
Update: later we found it for $129 further marked down, still feeling pretty good about our deal.

You're such an artsy fella!
Do you always have to go there?
Artsy is not something I would think you would be described as most days but I have to agree this shows some ARTSYNESS.
