Oh Snap!
I woke this morning before first light when terrible winds arrived with the cold front howling between the houses staining the windows and the shingles to the limits.
This pole in town broke under the strain.

There is a huge area of Pittsfield that is still w/o power. We had some issues all our computers and emergency stuff went out for a minute then flickered a few times that night ....not so fun.
B's mother was w/o power.She thankfully got it back soon. Her sister and brother-in-law as well. When the power came back on they lost many electronic devices due to a spike in the line. Talk about not fun.
