As we approach the end of summer… and its coming fast… we see the kids are going back to school the days are getting shorter and there is a certain feeling in the air.

No, its not the smell of burning leaves (not yet anyway) its College Football. Living in the shadow of the BIG HOUSE means you can almost feel a palpable presence edging ever closer as game days arrive… first home game 11/30 just a little over a week away.

This year I have again passed on season tickets to pursue my more ala-cart style game strategy, picking up a select few games, and one road trip to visit my friends in West Lafayette possibly.

The Stadium has been going under a transformation of sorts, and is supposed to be ready but not complete for the first game. Only time will tell but it looks to me like they have a long way to go to be ready for kickoff.
