The highs  are getting higher.
The lows are getting lower.

Either the stakes are getting higher or I am going bi-polar.

It really has not snowed this year.
Its been a really easy winter.
That's what I said I did.

 Yeah, that one... it was in a commercial today so I decided to look up what it meant.

 

Yeah.. it was weirdly disturbing:

Naturally, the literal English translation does not match up well with the meter of the song, so a slightly less literal (but more singable) version would be:

*sigh*

I have to stop looking crap up.

Patience.... and other lessons I did not learn today.

Patience is a lesson I am still learning... but I am getting better.

One day does not a weekend make... there is just not enough time in one day.

Suddenly I realized ....

Suddenly I realized ....the universe I was in complete control of was spinning into chaos.

Today was for the birds...

So today did not go as planned.But really what day ever does? 

I did get to spend time with the Girl... and that was good. It was a frustrating day punctuated by moments of brilliance.  One surprise was this hawk that let me drive the truck right up and park feet away from her. Dog barking, truck running, radio blasting, we watched each other for a few minutes reminding me surprising things still happen for no reason at all.
