Merry Christmas Everyone.

Secret Santa

All over the country, the Secret Santa Office pool is in full swing, our office is no exception.

Since I am not the best at picking out gifts for others (yet am extremely adept and getting myself gifts… hmmm) a gift certificate is clearly my safest option. Yet opening an envelope is just not the same as opening a gift. My solution was this simple wooden box that I whipped up in the shop, and neatly housed the credit card sized gift certificate.

Way more fun to open this home made gift, and still able to get what they wanted.

Holiday Procrastination

Ahhh The Holidays are upon us and with the usual stress we heap on shopping/gift expectations , out of town guests and/or travel and a bevy of other anxiety making activities that suck the fun out of what should otherwise be a joyous time.

This is the time of year where when it comes down to crunch time I always realize but never learn that waiting until that last minute is never good. Oh tempting procrastination with you promise of free time, and unrealistic views that go against everything we know about common sense organizational skills… why are you such a temptress. Walking hand in hand with laziness, I should know better than to listen to your enchanting words but every year it’s a struggle to keep you at bay.

Honestly, this year I am doing better than most.

This picture alone was worth staying on that mailing list.

This morning on a early jaunt to work, I discovered the sunrise. On my other side, there was a rainbow that I could just not get a good shot of.

Last Weekend- Carlos Mencia in Ann Arbor

Saturnday, 12/2 Carlos Mencia was in town.

It was a great show, Carlos was funny as hell. Carlos asked we do not show to much or say to much about the show so others may enjoy it for the first time. All I have to say is:

THE SHOW WAS SPECTACULAR. MY MOUTH WAS AGAPE WITH SURPRISE.

You know what I am talking about Carlos, you owe me one.
