Billed as the “Critter Getter” this otherwise low profile vehicle targeting hunting enthusiasts but really I don’t see why ANYONE would not want one. Sure it has a face only a mother could love, but as they say looks are not everything.

Top 5 reasons I need this vehicle.

1) Basic transportation, of course

2) My truck is just not obnoxious enough

3) I have a need to roll on 64’s

4) Two words: Zombie apocalypse

5) Make parking easier. Now I can just park on top of my neighbors prius.

Cool Gear: Vintage Land Rover

Randomly found in a parking lot in town.
This vintage land rover was AWESOME and it pretty good shape considering this was likely a 30+ year (I estimate 35 yr) old vehicle. It was cool to see it was someones daily driver as well and I had a little jealous tinge when I left, thinking my lease is up soon, maybe I'll get a vintage vehicle.

PS - I think some of these had aluminum bodies and were 4 cyl diesel, that would be crazy as salt an aluminum don't mix (just ask your local airport)

Cool Gear-Ferrari California

Sometimes you see something that makes you draw you breath.

This it the case of the Ferrari California. ($TBA) is an all-aluminum 2-seater with a retractable, folding hard top. Under the hood, the Maserati-esque convertible will feature a mid-front mounted 460-hp 4.3-liter V8. Other specs include a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, F1-Trac traction control system, and a 0 to 60 time of under 4 seconds.

Vue

Barb got her new Vue today, and it is pretty cool. Here is a quick shot complete with my finger in the photo.

I was going to post an "out with the old and in with the new photo" with her old van but she got all sentimental about the old van and felt bad for the vehicle she was getting rid of.

Holy Flashback

While driving today a rip-in the space/time continuum opened up and this AMC eagle station wagon appeared in a cloud of smoke and the smell of brimstone right in front of me.

Bringing back memories of early to mid eighties, this ugly duckling for the 4x4 world was actually a pioneer in the soon to be SUV craze. Just a little to ugly a little to early.

Yet here one was, just driving down the road like they missed their exit and ended up in the wrong decade.

( I almost forgot, this is not the first time a AMC has caught my eye)
